WebI don't know anything about camera import specifics, but if there isn't a specific solution for that, you could put a locator or dummy geometry in the cameras position, import that, and then at least you have a position you can snap an unreal camera to. WebBelow, we export a scene from the Sequencer Subway Project (pictured below) available for free from the Learn tab of the Launcher. We then take it into Maya and alter the camera movement in the scene, then import that FBX along with our changes back into UE4 where our existing scene is automatically updated with our changes.
Web12 Dec 2024 · I am trying to import camera animation from FBX file into maya, but always after import, camera's direction is wrong even if all rotations are set to zero. Default camera direction is in negativ Z axis (if you create new camera object). All rotations are zero. But after fbx animation import, default direction is in positive X axis.
WebPerhaps that would be another option, if fbx doesn't work. The other possibility is that UE4 reads the axis in different order than nuke outputs. Try using zyx rather than xyz (which is the nuke default, IIRC). If the camera is just rotated 90 degrees, offset it in nuke by 90 using the camera tracker (same link as above).
